Here is a map to this huge Gran Bahia complex:
This is where the disco, theater, shops, etc are located. Regardless, all guests have access to the central entertainment complex on-site called the Pueblo Principe. This section is not near the beach, and requires a solid 10 minute walk or tram ride to get to the ocean front. The Premier is located in the western-most area of the property and is open to families of all ages. Guests at either of these deluxe resorts can use the facilities of the Bavaro & Punta Cana, as well as use the a la carte dining at each other's resorts (Esmeralda guests dining at the Ambar must be over 18 however). The Ambar is their deluxe, over-18, adult-exclusive section on the north end of the property whereas the smaller Esmeralda resort is their deluxe family-friendly section at the south end of the property. They have club level upgrades available to give your room a preferred location as well as a few additional amenities such as an extra night of a la carte dining. These are the most economical sections within the Gran Bahia complex. The Bavaro & Punta Cana are virtually identical twin resorts. You left-out their Gran Bahia Principe Premier. There are actually (5) sections to this huge resort complex.
